ZAU Data Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ZAU Data platform ("ZAU", "we", "our", "us") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you must not use the platform.

ZAU Data is operated by Alandra Studio, Unipessoal Lda. ("Alandra Studio"), a company incorporated in Portugal and responsible for providing the services described in these Terms.

2. Description of Service

ZAU provides an online platform that enables users to:

  • Connect third-party data sources.
  • Generate dashboards with aggregated and combined metrics.
  • Access prebuilt analytics templates.

Custom dashboards may be offered as an additional paid service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to represent your organization to use ZAU.

4. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
  • Attempt to access data or systems you are not authorized to access.
  • Reverse engineer, duplicate, or resell the Service.
  • Misuse API access or attempt to bypass authentication.

6. Data and Permissions

When connecting data sources, you grant ZAU permission to access, process, and store data strictly for the purpose of providing the Service.

All API connections follow each provider's terms and OAuth security standards.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform components, models, and dashboards are the property of ZAU Data.

You retain ownership of your underlying business and advertising data.

8. Subscription and Payment

Pricing and billing terms are provided separately during subscription or service agreements.

Failure to pay may result in account suspension.

9. Service Availability

We aim for 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Maintenance, updates, or force majeure events may cause temporary downtime.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

ZAU is not responsible for inaccuracies in third-party data sources.

11. Limitation of Liability

ZAU's liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the past 12 months.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time.

ZAU may suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal.

14. Security and Data Retention

ZAU implements encryption in transit and at rest, and access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

Detailed security measures and retention timelines are outlined in our Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

15. Compliance with Amazon Policies

ZAU complies with all applicable Amazon developer policies, including the Amazon Ads API and Amazon Selling Partner API Data Protection Policies.

We also comply with major data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD), as described in our Compliance Statement.
